Anil Edward

Anil Edward, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Anil currently holds the position of High School Principal at the International Leadership Charter High School. Prior to this role, they worked at Equality Charter School where they served as an Assistant Principal/Vice Principal, Department Chair of Science, and High School Science Teacher. Anil also worked as a High School Science Teacher at New Visions for Public Schools. Before transitioning to the education field, Anil worked as a Parasitology Technician at VCA Antech, where they were responsible for preparing and analyzing stool samples. Anil began their career as a High School Science Teacher at Corentyne Comprehensive High School, where they taught various subjects such as Biology, Human and Social Biology, Geography, and Basic Computer Skills. Throughout their career, Anil has shown expertise in curriculum development, teaching, and leadership roles.

Anil Edward, Ph.D. pursued their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Guyana from 2003 to 2007. Anil then obtained a Master's degree in Adolescent Education from Queens College between 2010 and 2012. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Anil pursued another Master's degree in Biology, General from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College. Following that, they attended Touro University and completed a Masters in Educational Leadership from 2015 to 2017. Anil continued their education at Walden University, where they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Education with a focus on Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from 2017 to 2020. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Education with the same specialization from Walden University between 2017 and 2021.
