Morgan Heim

Morgan Heim is a visual storyteller and media strategist with a focus on conservation and environmental issues. As the owner of Neon Raven Story Labs since January 2019, Morgan has developed a diverse portfolio as a freelance science and conservation journalist, photographer, and multimedia producer since August 2006. Morgan serves as a Senior Fellow at the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP) and as a Trustee for The WILD Foundation, contributing to special media projects and strategic communications. Additional experience includes roles as a producer at Day's Edge Productions, science communicator at CIRES/NOAA, teaching assistant in photojournalism at the University of Colorado, and various internships and coordinating positions in science communication. Morgan holds an M.A. in Environmental Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and a B.S. in Zoology with a focus on fisheries and marine biology from the University of Washington.
