Samer Al-Jishi, MEng, PMP has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and project management field. Samer currently holds the position of VP of Engineering (A) at International Maritime Industries. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager of Project Engineering at the same company.

Before joining International Maritime Industries, Al-Jishi worked at Saudi Aramco for several years. Samer held the role of Lead Project Engineer, where they managed the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases of multi-million dollar offshore and onshore projects. Samer also led a Pipeline Replacement project in the Berri field.

During their time at Saudi Aramco, Al-Jishi also worked as a Business Administrator and Project Engineer. In these roles, they managed various aspects of projects, such as procurement, project controls, risk assessment, and liaison with project stakeholders.

Prior to working at Saudi Aramco, Al-Jishi had experience at SABIC as a Project Coordinator and Cost Engineer. At SOFCON, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer, focusing on the development and modification of plant piping layouts, isometrics, and equipment data sheets. Samer also conducted field verification and worked closely with client representatives.

Al-Jishi's early experience includes working as a Construction/Turnover Engineer at Fluor. Overall, they have a strong background in project management and engineering, with experience in both offshore and onshore projects.

Samer Al-Jishi received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in 2002. Samer then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Construction Engineering & Management from the same institution in 2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have acquired additional certifications including Agile Project Leadership, Communicating as a Leader Nano Tips with Jessica Chen, and Growing Relationships as a Manager, all obtained from LinkedIn in 2023.
