Boya Liu

Boya Liu is a Research Analyst at the International Monetary Fund, where Boya compiled a macroeconomic dataset and established the IMF's first gender inequality index for 116 countries. Prior to this role, Boya worked as a Consultant at The World Bank on projects aimed at reducing stunting through multisectoral efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa and analyzing economic consumption vulnerability to poverty caused by natural disasters in Africa. Boya Liu holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland and a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Idaho.
