Katie Dougherty

Katie Dougherty currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Director and previously held the role of Senior Change Management Officer at the International Monetary Fund since August 2019. Prior to this, Katie worked at Accenture from January 2008 to August 2019 as Change Enablement Lead, focusing on employee adoption of transformational changes within the Health & Public Service Group. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Corporate Account Manager at Learn iT! Corporate Training, where engagement with Fortune 500 companies centered on employee development, and as Center Director at SCORE! Educational Centers, managing a tutorial center for K-12 students. Katie also held the position of Director of Education at the City of Raleigh Museum, overseeing educational outreach initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in European History from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in World 20th Century History from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
