Maja Ivanovic

Maja Ivanovic serves as an Advisor to the Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund since August 2023 and has been an Advisor to the Vicegovernor at the Center for Macroeconomic and Financial Research and Forecasts within the Central Bank of Montenegro since September 2020. Additionally, Maja has been a Lecturer at Univerzitet Donja Gorica since February 2019. Previously, Maja worked as a Special Advisor to the Director at the Central Bank of Montenegro's Department for Financial Stability, Research, and Statistics from January 2014 to September 2020, focusing on the analysis and forecasting of Montenegrin economic activity. Maja’s earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Examiner in the Supervision Department and an Examiner for Stress Testing at the Central Bank of Montenegro from October 2008 to January 2014. Maja holds a Ph.D. and Master of Philosophy in Economics from Staffordshire University, a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance from Univerzitet Crne Gore, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Univerzitet Crne Gore, along with studies at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
