Nan Li is a seasoned economist with extensive experience at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) since January 2011, currently serving as the Deputy Division Chief of the Development Macro Division in the Research Department. Prior roles at the IMF include Senior Economist in the African Department, Associate Editor for the IMF Economic Review, and Economist in the Institute for Capacity Development. Prior to joining the IMF, Nan Li was an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University from October 2007 to August 2011. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University and a B.S. in International Finance from Peking University.
