Valentina Paskalova

Technical Assistance Officer at International Monetary Fund

Valentina Paskalova is a highly experienced professional in the field of finance and advisory services, currently serving as a Technical Assistance Officer in the Fiscal Affairs Department at the International Monetary Fund since September 2022. Prior to this role, Valentina worked at the International Finance Corporation from June 2018 to August 2022 as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing environmental and social advisory projects across Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe. Valentina's experience also includes serving as a Senior Operations Officer at the World Bank Group from July 2014 to June 2018, and various positions at the International Finance Corporation between 2001 and 2014, including Operations Officer and Project Manager. Earlier in Valentina's career, roles included Program Advisor for the Macedonian Banking Project with Booz Allen & Hamilton/USAID and Manager of the Finance Specialist Department at the Macedonian Business Resource Center. Valentina holds an MBA from Sheffield University in Thessalonika, Greece, and a BSc in Economics (Finance) from the University of St. Kiril i Metodij in Macedonia.
