Anika Wells is a prominent Australian politician and legal professional, currently serving as Vice President of the Brisbane 2032 Organising Committee for the Olympic & Paralympic Games with the International Olympic Committee since July 2022. In addition, Anika Wells holds the position of Federal Minister for Aged Care and Sport and serves as the Federal Member for Lilley in the Parliament of Australia since May 2019. Anika Wells is also an Executive Committee Member of the World Anti-Doping Agency since June 2022. Prior to these roles, Anika Wells practiced as a lawyer at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers from August 2014 to May 2019. Anika Wells earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Griffith University between 2004 and 2009 and has further education from The Australian National University.
