Pau Gasol

Pau Gasol is a distinguished professional basketball player and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder and President of Gasol16 Ventures since July 2020. Gasol has also been an advisor and member of the Advisory Board at The Consello Group since February 2022 and a member of the IOC Athletes’ Commission with the International Olympic Committee since August 2021. As the co-founder and president of the Gasol Foundation since 2013, Gasol champions children's health and nutrition in collaboration with UNICEF as a Global Champion for Nutrition and Zero Childhood Obesity since July 2019. Additionally, Gasol holds the position of Strategic Advisor, Global Ambassador, and Partner at FC Barcelona and serves as an Advisory Board Member for Asociación del Deporte Español (ADESP) since June 2019. Gasol previously held a role as Vice President of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) from February 2017 to February 2020 and was a professional basketball player for Federación Española de Baloncesto from 2001 to August 2021. Gasol has academic credentials from Harvard Business School and Universitat de Barcelona.
