Galen Lamphere-Englund

Galen Lamphere-Englund is a prominent expert in countering violent extremism and terrorism, with a diverse background in strategic communications and research. As the Co-Founder and Convener of the Extremism and Gaming Research Network (EGRN) since January 2021, Galen has collaborated with over 100 members from various sectors to address online gaming exploitation by terrorist organizations. Through Englund Consulting, established in 2011, Galen has provided strategic insights at the intersection of violent conflict and technology. Current roles include serving as a Strategic Communications Advisor for IOM - UN Migration and a Research Advisor for Hedayah, while previously holding positions with organizations such as Love Frankie and the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism.
