Hussein Alhajj

Hussein Alhajj is an experienced IT professional currently serving as a Senior Information and Communication Assistant at IOM - UN Migration since September 2024. Prior to this role, Hussein held the position of Senior ICT Administrator at Mercy Corps from May 2022 to September 2024, where key achievements included leading the transition to Cisco Meraki network devices and developing the ITOps Framework App for field IT capabilities. Hussein has also worked at IOM - UN Migration as an Information Technology Assistant and at Mercy Corps in various ICT roles. Earlier experience includes serving as a Network Engineer at HSA Group, where responsibilities encompassed configuring and maintaining internal networks. Hussein holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Networks and Distributed Systems from Taiz University, earned between 2011 and 2017.
