Marietta Senkatuka Muwanga

Marietta Senkatuka Muwanga is a seasoned IT leader with extensive experience in driving digital transformation and cloud adoption within major international organizations. Currently serving as CIO and Director of ICT at IOM - UN Migration since June 2018, Marietta has successfully implemented the organization's first Oracle Cloud ERP and established global data governance frameworks aligned with NIST standards. Prior to this, Marietta held key positions at the World Bank Group as Program Manager, at UNICEF as Regional Chief ICT for Eastern and Southern Africa, and at the United Nations Mission in DR Congo as Chief ICT Officer. With a strong educational background, including an MSc in Information Systems from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s in Statistics from Makerere University, Marietta has consistently advanced ICT capabilities to facilitate evidence-based decision-making and enhance organizational efficiency.
