Sonia Omair

Sonia Omair is an experienced communication and advocacy professional with a strong background in development communication. Currently serving as the National Communication, Advocacy and Reporting Officer at IOM - UN Migration, Sonia leads a team responsible for media grants and project reporting, particularly for USAID-funded initiatives in Pakistan. Previous roles include Head of Programme at Strengthening Participatory Organization, where Sonia managed donor-funded projects, and Communication Advisor at GIZ Pakistan, focusing on government communications and outreach. Sonia has also held various academic positions, served as a Development Communication Consultant, and possesses substantial HR expertise. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Management Sciences and an MBA in Business Administration.
