Mimi Zou

Mimi Zou serves as a Mentor and Panel Member for LawtechUK, contributing to the organization’s advisory board since May 2023. In October 2023, Mimi joined the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE) as a member of the Scientific Panel on Global Standards for AI Audits. With extensive academic experience, Mimi holds multiple professorships in law and commercial law across prestigious institutions, including the University of New South Wales and the University of Oxford. Additionally, Mimi is a Founding Board Member and Advisor of the Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation & Technology Association and a co-founder of Deriskly. Previous roles include legal consultancy and advisory positions within various organizations, such as the Centre for Data Ethics & Innovation. Mimi holds a PhD in Law from the University of Oxford and is currently pursuing an MSc in Computer Science at the University of York.
