Mitch Hecht

Founder And Chairman at International Recycling Group

Mitch Hecht has a diverse work experience. Mitch founded and currently serves as the Chairman of International Recycling Group, where they are focused on building the world's largest plastics recycling plant. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Managing Partner of Hampshire Steel Investments, LLC. Mitch has also held various leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer and V.P. of External Affairs and Public Policy at International Steel Group, Inc. In addition, they founded M. Hecht & Associates, LLC and worked at Deutsche Bank, PaineWebber, and The Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A., where they held executive positions.

Mitch Hecht attended New York University from 1979 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. Mitch then went on to study at Fordham University School of Law from 1981 to 1985, obtaining a Doctor of Law degree with a focus on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. Mitch further pursued their education at NYU Stern School of Business from 1985 to 1989, earning a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance, General.
