Camila Hernandez Garrido

Camila Hernandez Garrido is a Program Officer at the International Republican Institute since February 2023, previously serving as Associate Director at the Atlantic Council from January 2019 to February 2023, with a focus on Colombia, Mexico, and Rule of Law & Justice in the Americas. Camila held positions such as Assistant Director focusing on Colombia's energy sector and Program Assistant as a Research Analyst at Tuatara Group, conducting international research on emerging markets and energy legislation. Additionally, Camila was a Helms Fellow at the World Resources Institute, contributing to forest management research in the Congo basin, and completed an internship at Human Rights Watch, where responsibilities included donor communications and grant research.
