Yuvraj Acharya

Yuvraj Acharya is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in political transition, capacity building, and peacebuilding efforts in Nepal. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at the International Republican Institute since February 2021, Yuvraj Acharya focuses on enhancing the legislative capacity of parliamentarians and promoting good governance among political parties. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Program Manager and Executive Director at the Nepal Transition to Peace Institute from April 2017 to February 2021, where Yuvraj Acharya facilitated key dialogues for Nepal's political transition and constitution implementation. Additional roles at UNDP and the United Nations Mission in Nepal involved political analysis, dialogue facilitation, and communication strategy development, with a strong emphasis on conflict resolution and peace studies. Yuvraj Acharya holds multiple degrees, including an M.Phil. in English from Pokhara University and a postgraduate degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Chulalongkorn University.
