Iftikhar Ahmed Leghari

Iftikhar Ahmed Leghari is a seasoned professional in the WASH sector with extensive experience managing and implementing water, sanitation, and hygiene programs. Currently serving as Sr. Manager WASH at the International Rescue Committee, Iftikhar leads the WASH component of a European Union-funded program across ten districts in Sindh, coordinating with multiple implementing partners and the Government of Sindh. Previous roles include WASH Specialist at the Rural Support Programmes Network and WASH Coordinator at Muslim Aid Pakistan, where Iftikhar supported HR in staff recruitment and managed provincial programs. Additional experience encompasses WASH and infrastructure consultancy for the Punjab Government and various positions at Plan International and National Rural Support Programme. Iftikhar holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Preston University and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Balochistan.
