Irem Mazmangi is a seasoned professional in safety and security management with extensive experience at the International Rescue Committee since May 2014, where roles have included Senior Director of Global Safety & Security and Interim Country Director. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Risk Manager at Greenpeace from January 2008 to April 2014, where Irem developed comprehensive risk management strategies and coordinated crisis responses, notably during the Gezi Park protests. Irem also led impactful campaigns and managed operational security in Lebanon, contributing to the establishment of security protocols and training programs. Irem holds an MBA in Crisis Decision-Making and Organizational Development from Aston University.
