Kamran Zaffar

Kamran Zaffar has extensive experience in financial management within the International Rescue Committee, serving in various roles since 2001. Currently, Kamran holds the position of Associate Director, Accounting & Consolidation, responsible for consolidating financial data at IRC headquarters in New York and guiding financial closing processes. Previously, as Regional Controller, leadership was provided in financial management for country programs, shaping financial policies that influence the organization's direction. As a Technical Controller, Kamran focused on training and mentoring international finance staff and contributed to financial policy discussions. Earlier experience as a Finance Controller involved establishing and ensuring compliance with in-country financial policies and internal controls. Kamran Zaffar is a CA Finalist from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, class of 1999.
