Kristen Allen

Kristen Allen is a seasoned professional in refugee services and community development, currently serving as a Program Officer for Virtual Resettlement & Placement at the International Rescue Committee since January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director at MIRR Alliance from May 2022 to December 2023, and as a Field Support Consultant for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops from September 2021 to May 2023. Kristen has also held multiple consulting roles with the US Campaign for Burma and has a strong background in management roles at Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, where responsibilities included Director of Refugee and Migrant Services. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration from the School of Advanced Study, University of London, and a B.G.S. in Public Administration from The University of Kansas.
