Hans Bhardwaj

Hans Bhardwaj is the Director of CGIAR Global Rice Breeding Program, providing strategic direction to the program. Prior to this, Hans served as Research Director and Department Head at the International Rice Research Institute, overseeing the Rice Breeding Innovations platform. With a background in plant breeding and genetics, Hans has held various senior research positions at DuPont Pioneer and Corteva Agriscience, focusing on product development and research strategies. Hans holds a Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute.
