Kimberly Beeman

Upper School Librarian at International School of Florence

Kimberly Beeman is an accomplished librarian with extensive experience in educational settings, currently serving as the Upper School Librarian at the International School of Florence since February 2024. Prior to this role, Kimberly held the position of Head of Senior Library at Tanglin Trust School from August 2017 to February 2024, where management of a 20,000-volume library and a team of ten supported research efforts for 1,400 students. Kimberly also served as Director of the Library at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok Riverside, managing resources for 1,600 students, and previously held roles at the International Culinary Center, overseeing libraries across two campuses, and at Convent of the Sacred Heart, assisting students and faculty in various library classes. Kimberly's academic qualifications include an AB in English and American Literature from Harvard University, an MLIS in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education - International from the University of Nottingham, among others.
