Mirela D. currently serves as a Research Facilitator at the International School of London, focusing on a language research project for students in Grades 7-9. Additionally, Mirela D. has held the position of Institute Coordinator at the Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of Surrey since 2007, overseeing workshops and Fellowships across various disciplines. Previously, Mirela D. has worked as a Mother Tongue Teacher and Research Facilitator at the International School of London (Surrey), a LOTE Teacher at the Victorian School of Languages, and has extensive experience as an interpreter and translator at various organizations, including the Croatian Red Cross. Mirela D. holds a PGCert in Education from Oxford Brookes University, a Master of Science in Social Research from the University of Surrey, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Sarajevo.
