Charles Kelly

Charles has worked in education for over 25 years and has taken on leadership roles across three continents. He is from the United Kingdom and has worked in London, the South East of England and the North East of England. More recently, he worked at a British school in Cairo, Egypt, before moving to México in 2013, where he became the Head of Lower School at El Colegio Britanico in Mexico City.

Charles has a strong growth mindset, and he is highly experienced in the areas of international curriculum development, leadership and management of teams, quality assurance, raising standards, child safety and staff professional development. He has had experience as a Council of British International Schools accreditor, a Latin American Heads Conference assessor, and coordinator of the COBIS Training Schools initiative. He has a PhD from the School of English Language and Literature/Letters at Newcastle University.
