Dolly Goriawala

Dolly has been Principal at Star International School for the last 16 years. With a total of 50 years of experience in education, she has been in the UAE for 40 years and has been a Principal for 30.

She believes in nurturing students to believe in themselves and to seize opportunities to develop themselves; the community around them; and the wider world. Lifelong learning is a quality Dolly aims to instill in everyone, and even models it herself. Armed with a master’s degree in educational leadership from Sheffield University and a Doctorate in School Administration from California, she is eyeing further challenges.

Dolly enjoys reading, writing, and being in the company of friends and family, her grandchildren, and her school children; and she always wears her smile.

Star International School, Al Twar has grown under her leadership, and the first cohort from the school sat their A levels last year, with outstanding results.
