David Russell

David Russell currently serves as the Director of Communications for the International Security Industry Council of Japan, a position held since October 2023. David has been the CEO of Russell Communications Int'l since April 1996, focusing primarily on consulting for large Japanese companies regarding global communications. Prior experience includes roles such as Corporate Communications Manager at Langley Esquire and Director at Safari Universal Relations, Inc., where a bilingual approach to corporate communications was developed. David Russell co-founded K.K. Trans-Pacific Productions and has held editorial positions at various prominent publications, including Nihon Keizai Shimbun and Sanyo Securities. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Japanese History/Literature from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy/Asian Studies from Connecticut College.
