Carlos Calderon-Ospina M.D.

Carlos Calderon-Ospina MD, MSc, PhD is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor and Head of the Pharmacology Unit at Universidad del Rosario, where active involvement includes research at the Human Genetics Research Center. With extensive contributions to the field, Carlos is affiliated with various reputable organizations including Cochrane, the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, the International Association for the Study of Pain, and the British Pharmacological Society. Carlos also holds a position as an international editorial committee member for BMJ Case Reports and has served as a Guest Editor for Therapeutic Advances in Drug Safety at SAGE Publishing. Recent scholarly activities include a postdoctoral research stint at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a forthcoming visiting professorship at Inönü University in Turkey as part of an Erasmus+ academic mobility program.
