Leah Sansbury

Leah Sansbury, PhD, MSPH, FISPE, is a seasoned professional in the field of epidemiology, currently serving as Senior Director of Epidemiology in Oncology at Moderna since August 2023. With extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and academic sectors, Leah has held senior roles at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. and GSK, focusing on oncology and global epidemiology. Leah is also a fellow at the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology. A past epidemiologist at the National Cancer Institute, Leah's academic background includes a Ph.D. and an MSPH in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, complemented by a B.S. in Biology from James Madison University. Expertise encompasses cancer epidemiology, genetic and molecular epidemiology, and pharmacoepidemiology.
