Payam Peymani is a Lead Research Associate at the University of Manitoba, focusing on pharmacoepidemiology and epidemiological studies involving drug utilization and real-world data analysis. Since June 2021, Payam has been leading national and international collaborations, ensuring data quality control, and developing data integration strategies. Previous roles include Research Associate, Postdoctoral Fellow Researcher, and Research Fellow and Faculty Member at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. Payam's expertise extends to mentoring students, grant writing, and conducting research on malformations and neurodevelopmental disorders. Additional experience includes a fellowship in Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance at Universitätsspital Zürich and membership in the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology. Payam holds a PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology and a Pharm.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
