Julia Mattis is a seasoned professional with a strong background in leadership, photography, and social work. As the Director of Special Projects and Director of Innovation and Student Engagement at Tulane Hillel, Julia conceptualized and led impactful community initiatives, including The Portrait Identity Project and an interactive photography exhibition. Julia also owns a photography business and serves as a feature photo blogger for International Studies Abroad, showcasing unique cultural experiences. Additionally, Julia gained hands-on experience as a school social worker in the NYC Department of Education, providing counseling and developing social-emotional learning programs. With degrees in Fine Arts from The Ohio State University and ongoing studies in Social Work at New York University, Julia combines creative expertise with a commitment to community engagement and student development.
