Matthew Poole

Matthew Poole possesses extensive experience in international trade and finance, currently serving as Deputy Senior Commercial Officer at the International Trade Administration since May 2014, after holding various roles including Senior Commercial Officer and Foreign Commercial Service Officer. Prior to this, Matthew worked at KPMG, LLP in the Transactions & Restructuring practice, providing financial due diligence for private equity firms and multinational manufacturers. Matthew's earlier career included a role as a Logistics Officer in the US Army, where management of logistics operations and personnel occurred in Japan and Korea. Matthew holds a BA in International Relations from Boston University and an MS in Accounting from the University of Illinois Chicago, alongside additional studies in language and improvisational training.
