Suraya Ahmadi

Suraya Ahmadi is currently an Associate Programme Officer at the International Trade Centre, with prior experience as a Project Support Consultant and Trade for Development Intern in the same organization. Previously, Suraya served as an intern in the WTO Accessions Division at the World Trade Organization from August 2022 to June 2023. Suraya's earlier roles include Legislative Specialist and Legal Coordinator for the Legal Board at the Ministry of Finance in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, as well as Legal Assistant for the Legal Board and Human Resource Assistant at Afghanaid. Suraya holds a French Masters 2 (LLM) in European and international trade and investment law and a French Masters 1 (LLM) in international business law, both from Université catholique de Lyon, along with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Kabul University.
