Martha Stokes

Martha Stokes is an experienced professional in environmental management and consultancy, currently serving as an Associate Programme Management Officer and Assessment Specialist at the UN Environment Programme. Stokes co-founded and co-directed the Edinburgh branch of Six Degrees, a non-profit environmental consultancy, where leadership resulted in the expansion of a 32-member team and the successful oversight of nine sustainability projects. Previous roles include Public Sector Consultant at Mutual Ventures, Change Management Consultant at Newton Europe, and Engineering Project Manager at Cambridge Development Initiative, all contributing to improvements in community health and environmental initiatives. Stokes began her career as a Communications Intern at TRAFFIC and has experience in science education content development and research for television.
