Jean-Claude Darne has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jean-Claude has worked at the International Trademark Association (INTA) from 2012 to the present, starting as a Communications Coordinator and progressing to roles such as Manager of Communications, Senior Communications Manager, and currently, Director of Communications and Research. At INTA, Jean-Claude has been responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, overseeing publications and multimedia content production, and serving as a lead speechwriter and media point person.
Prior to INTA, Jean-Claude worked as a Communications Associate at Catchafire, where they developed and executed comprehensive communication strategies across multiple channels. Jean-Claude also worked as a Graduate Assistant to Wagner College Theatre, creating and distributing PR and marketing materials, launching a theatre blog, and maintaining the theatre website.
In addition, Jean-Claude has experience in public relations and marketing roles, including as a Public Relations Intern at The Partnership at Drugfree.org, a Writer/Research Intern at Green Team, and a Marketing Intern at J. Ottman Consulting, Inc. Jean-Claude has also worked as an ESL Teacher at Pyeongtaek Girls High School, an Editor at The Home Guide Magazine, and a Music Journalist at Liverpool Citywise Magazine.
Jean-Claude Darne completed their education in a chronological order. Jean-Claude started by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they completed between 2003 and 2006. Following this, they pursued an Honours degree in Philosophy from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, which they completed between 2007 and 2009. Lastly, Jean-Claude obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing from Wagner College between 2009 and 2011.
