Luise Vassie

Luise Vassie is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in membership, operations, risk management, and governance within the health and safety sector. Currently serving as Head of Membership & Operations at Hazards Forum and as a Board Trustee at Lionheart Educational Trust, Luise also works as a Consultant for the International Training Centre of the ILO, focusing on management competencies for health and safety professionals. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Laser Physics and a PGCE, Luise has held various leadership roles, including Director at TNL Consulting Limited and Chair at IOSH, where significant contributions were made to policy development and research. Luise's previous roles also include teaching at Loughborough University and contributing to the governance and management of charitable organizations addressing social issues.
