Tatiana Shaburova

Tatiana Shaburova is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in international law and various sectors, including oil and gas, law firms, and corporate law. Currently serving as an External Collaborator at ITCILO since February 2016, Tatiana focuses on training and educational programs within ACTRAV and ILS GEN. Previous roles include External Collaborator for law firms from 2015 to October 2022, where responsibilities encompassed drafting and negotiating contracts with Russian-speaking clients and providing legal translations among Italian, English, and Russian. As an In-house Lawyer for a Russian oil and gas company from December 2012 to February 2014, Tatiana managed projects and drafted legal documents. Tatiana's early career included positions at Norton Rose LLP and Hogan Lovells, where involvement ranged from M&A to corporate documentation. Tatiana holds a PhD in International Law and Legal Studies from Università degli Studi di Torino, along with a Master's degree in International Law from the same institution, and has completed a summer course in EU competition law at the College of Europe.
