Miguel Moncada Isla

Miguel Moncada Isla is a Technical Lead at Cambium.Earth since September 2023 and has been an External Collaborator at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in the Group of Earth Observation (GEOQUBIDY) while also working on a Master's thesis focused on developing a change detection remote sensing algorithm using Python and GIS for identifying wildfire burnt areas in the Iberian Peninsula from 2002 to 2018. Prior roles include Support Team Lead, Senior Support Engineer, and Support Engineer at CARTO between January 2020 and September 2023, as well as GIS Engineer at GRUPO TASVALOR, S.A., and a Production Assistant at Aleia Roses. Miguel also completed a Sustainability and Research internship at GRUPO CAJAMAR. Academic credentials include a Master in Ingeniería de Montes and a Grado in Ingenieria Medio Natural, both from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
