Chiara Christina Colombo is a Policy, Engagement and Research Consultant at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) since March 2022, focusing on promoting IWMI’s strategic agenda and supporting the Deputy Director General with conference preparations, scientific papers, and strategic planning. Previously, Chiara served as a Policy Associate at the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation, contributing to the first Water Pavilion at COP26, and as a Project Officer at the World Water Council, coordinating the Water and Climate Change Task Force and managing significant initiatives like the #ClimateIsWater Initiative. Chiara's earlier experience includes project management at IDP European Consultants and an internship at UNESCO's Permanent Delegation to Italy. Academic credentials include a Second Level Master's Degree in Cooperation and Development from Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori, a Master's degree in International Cooperation from Università di Siena, a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, and participation in the Erasmus Exchange Program at Institut d'études politiques de Rennes.
