Lydia Szewczyk serves as a Senior Associate on the Commercial team at International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), supporting teams across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). She possesses a rich knowledge of complex built environment design issues and opportunities, and uses her experience to support project teams and provide technical assistance. Prior to joining IWBI, Lydia practiced as a licensed Architect, working on a wide range of projects from town master planning, adaptive reuse, boutique commercial, and residential. Lydia holds a BA in Art History from Rhodes College and a M.Arch from Washington University in St. Louis where she studied how design can influence community equity and engagement at the individual, building and urban scales.
