Chonghee Choi Hwang is an accomplished public health professional with extensive experience in family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH) interventions, technical leadership, and program management in international contexts. Currently serving as Deputy Project Director of FP/RH at the International Youth Foundation, Chonghee brings over 20 years of expertise gained from key roles at the United Nations Foundation, where responsibilities included directing the scale-up of high-impact practices and managing partnerships across Asia, Africa, and Latin America to advance FP2030 commitments. Previous positions held include Senior Manager for FP2030, Director of Strategic Planning at the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare, and Programme Officer at UNFPA Nepal. Chonghee's educational background includes two master's degrees in Public Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Seoul National University, along with a bachelor's degree from Ewha Womans University.
