Cara Unterkofler

Cara Unterkofler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Organization Members at the Internet Society, Cara focuses on fostering collaboration and enhancing member value. Previously, a growth sabbatical was taken to start a family and embrace life in Italy. Cara's background includes significant tenure as Managing Director at LeanPath, where business development efforts were directed towards preventing food waste in the foodservice sector, and as Director at Greenview, leading sustainability consulting for hospitality and tourism. Additional leadership experience includes serving as President of the Greater Washington Area Chapter for the Green Meeting Industry Council and consulting for Closed Loop Environmental Solutions. Cara began a career at LexisNexis, contributing to a profitable start-up business unit. Cara holds a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
