Isra Rosas has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2011, they worked as an Analysis Engineer at XEIPN Canal Once de Televisión Once TV México. From 2014 to 2018, they served as an Internet Policy Analyst at the Presidencia de la República - Mexico, where they provided advice on Internet Governance and Policy issues. During this time, they also served as a member of the IGF 2016 Organizing Committee and represented CSTD WGEC at the global level. Since 2018, Isra Rosas has been working at the Internet Society, starting as an Outreach Manager and progressing to Regional Development Manager and then Senior Regional Development Manager. Currently, they hold the role of Director, Partnerships and Internet Development.

Isra Rosas completed a degree in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional from 2006 to 2010. In 2013, they participated in the ISOC Next Generation Leaders (NGL) Programme, focusing on shaping the internet. In 2022, they pursued a certificate in Non-Profit Leadership for Impact from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Additionally, Isra Rosas obtained certifications in Holding Your Team Accountable, How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit, and Leading and Motivating People with Different Personalities from LinkedIn in 2022.
