Emma Hardy

Emma joined the IWF in April 2011. She heads up the communications team and is a Director for the UK Safer Internet Centre.

She leads the media relations work, marketing, and digital communications including the website, newsletters, and social media output, and manages the public affairs team.

Emma leads the creation and dissemination of the IWF annual report and the commissioning and communication of ‘snapshot’ studies throughout the year as new trends emerge.

Emma gives presentations to small and large audiences to inform and educate about IWF’s work. She leads on campaigns, messaging, and brands.

Emma has 20 years of experience in media, handling proactive and reactive media issues, briefing spokespeople, ensuring that media responses and policy responses work together, and acting as a spokesperson where required.
