Russ Wood, PMP ITILv3, has over 33 years of work experience in the IT industry. Starting in 1988, they were a Manager of Software Development at Nortel Networks. In 2000, they moved to Ciena Communications as a Senior Manager of Core Director and On-Center Service and Support. In 2003, they joined Sun Microsystems as a Project Manager, PMP and was assigned to the Cingular Wireless account. In 2007, they became a Senior Project Manager at Softchoice Corporation, where they worked on multiple small to medium scale solutions including Networking, Storage, and Server infrastructure projects in the SMB market. In 2011, they joined iVision as a Senior Consultant of Delivery Assurance. In 2014, they were a Senior Project Manager at NTT. Currently, they are a Project Manager at Internetwork Engineering.

Russ Wood, PMP ITILv3, obtained their BS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte between 1984 and 1987. In 2005, they obtained their PMP certification from the PMI Institute. In 2012, they obtained their ITILv3 certification from ITIL Certified. In 1997, they obtained their Executive MBA from Campbell University with a focus in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
