Richard Lane

Richard Lane has extensive experience in risk management and underwriting roles. Richard most recently worked as a Senior Vice President at InterNex Capital starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they spent over 25 years at GE Capital, where they held various roles including SVP - Director of Risk Management, VP - Client Risk Leader - Global AR Purchase Initiative, VP - Client Risk Manager, and VP - Capital Markets Risk Management / Underwriting. These roles spanned from November 1995 to August 2021.

Richard Lane earned a Master's degree in Finance, with a focus on Finance, General, from the University of Connecticut School of Business. Richard attended this institution from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Iona University from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Richard Lane has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Richard became a Certified Public Accountant in April 1999, certified by the State of Connecticut. Richard also obtained the certification "ExecOnline: Mastering Management Essentials" from ExecOnline, Inc. in December 2019. Furthermore, they received the certification "Fundamentals of Corporate Credit" from Moody's Corporation in January 2021. Most recently, they completed "The Next-Generation Internal Audit Journey" certification offered by Protiviti in May 2021.
