Shreya Patel

Shreya Patel has a diverse work experience in policy and privacy roles. Shreya started their career at Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN), where they held various positions such as Chief Policy & Privacy Officer, National Health and Privacy Policy Advisor, Policy and Proposal Manager, and Policy Analyst. Shreya also had an educational leave during their time at MiHIN. In 2020, they joined the Interoperability Institute and Velatura Public Benefit Corporation as Chief Policy & Privacy Officer. Before that, they had an externship at Beaumont Health and served as a Legal Intern at Harvard Law School and New York Legal Assistance Group.

Shreya Patel graduated from the University of Michigan in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Communication Studies. From 2014 to 2017, they attended Michigan State University College of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Shreya also holds a certification in Bar Admission from the State Bar of Michigan.
