Carr Phillips has over two decades of experience in product marketing and has worked with various companies in different industries.
Carr started their career in 1998 at Niku, a hyper-growth start-up, where they served as a Senior Director of Product Marketing. During their time there, they played a pivotal role in the company's growth and success, including leading the $225m IPO in February 2000.
In 2003, Carr joined PeopleSoft as a Director of Product Marketing, where they were responsible for global go-to-market activities for Enterprise Service Automation (ESA) and Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) product lines. After that, they joined Domo, Inc., a stealth-mode start-up, on a contracting basis. Carr helped the company by creating new product strategy, messaging, and positioning.
Carr then transitioned to Microsoft in 2015, where they held the position of Director of Industry Product Marketing. Carr played a crucial role in growing Microsoft's recognition as the technology and cloud provider of choice in the financial services industry. Carr'sresponsibilities included developing industry business plans, defining key industry priority scenarios, and driving key sales and marketing programs.
Currently, Carr is working at Interos Inc as the Senior Director of Product Marketing, a position they took in February 2021. Carr'sresponsibilities in this role are not specified.
