Anita Vescovi

Technical Project Manager at Interpace Diagnostics

Anita Vescovi has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Anita began their career at Saint Vincent College as a Laboratory Assistant and Teacher's Aide in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Research Technician at the University of Pittsburgh, where they were highly detail oriented and organized, and identified and documented cardiac and extra-cardiac congenital defects in hundreds of neonate mice. Anita also organized a breeding colony of 1,000 mice. In 2015, they worked at UPMC Shadyside Hospital as a Patient Care Technician, where they obtained Nurse Aide certification and provided quality patient care to patients on a medical surgery - cancer unit. Anita also worked at Interpace Diagnostics as a Laboratory Technologist and Triage Coordinator. In 2017, they began working at Interpace Biosciences as a Laboratory Supervisor, Associate Supervisor, Lead Laboratory Technologist, Senior Laboratory Technologist, and Laboratory Technologist 2. In their roles, they provided direct support to all technical staff within the fast-paced, high throughput clinical lab, oversaw daily operations to maintain established TAT and quality metrics for assays, and performed supervisory roles, including timekeeping, scheduling, performance review input, and interviewing potential new hires.

Anita Vescovi received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a Cellular/Molecular Concentration from Saint Vincent College between 2008 and 2012. Anita then went on to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Molecular Diagnostics from The George Washington University between 2015 and 2017. Additionally, they hold a CPR Certification from the American Heart Association and a Nurse Aide/Patient Care Technician certification from UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Hospital.
